Health Awareness Posters!
At last... I finally managed to get clear pics of the health awareness posters!
I can't really say anything here. Coz my classmates will read my blog and some of my comments will definitely offend some of them. So... it's all positive ones. Full version? Ask me lar. lol
OK we start from Group 1: Coronary Heart Disease
What I like: - 'Heart Facties'. I think it's very cute.
- Not too wordy. Points well emphasized.
- The heart itself. Good representation of the disease.
- The presentation (oral defense) itself. I can hear the whole group echoing in unison: "Keep Your Engine Going" while I was jaga-ing my group's poster.
- Good effort on the hand-drawn choo-choo train. Kudos to Aik Wye!
Next group: Accidents
Lol I was the additional 8th group member k. Actually this group was quite unfortunate coz no one knows how to use Adobe Photoshop or iDraw. I just teach them the basics and help them realize (with very limited skills) their concept. Oh they have some 'PR issues' as well.
What I like: - Good effort on the hand-drawn pictures.
- Good subtitle. Catchy
- Simple layout, good start for freshies.
- They have this 'Contacts' section which I think it's very useful.
3rd group: Osteoporosis
What I like: Good layout, clear information and attractive.
Group 4: Healthy Eating in Children
What I like: - Fresh concept. Eye-catching. Good start! Oh the food pictures just make my mouth watery. NEXT!!!
Group 5: Breast Awareness
What I like: Very very creative, unusual concept. I guess that's because that the class 'plant' @ photoshop genius is in that group. Not much words also.
And last but not least... my very own group's poster: Schizophrenia
I did the layout using photoshop k. I'm so proud of myself. Lol I guess playing around with the blogger layouts does improve my photoshop skills. The background pic is from devianart. I should give credit to the creator of that picture but there wasn't any space left on the poster.
What I like: Nice colours. Font size big enough to see from far. Oh Russell Crowe does attracts people. I prefer Johnny Depp though. Better still, Orlando Bloom. LOL
What I think can be improved: - points emphasis not clear.
- Spelling and editting errors. I shall not make further comments on this.
Final thoughts: All groups did a fantastic job. I've learnt loads of things from this poster. It's not really about the disease since my dissertation topic is schizophrenia. It's more of working with different people, seeing their true colours. True colours doesn't necessarily mean the bad things.. it's good too. No names mentioned.
