OK STOP!!! When we visited the night market, the other gangs bought lots of flowers (and some received too).

4 of us: Pin, Kae Shin, Qian Hui and me are currently single and we want some roses too. But then, we are not guy magnets so no one bought for us. We are not that pathetic to buy roses ourselves. We have a better plan. Armed with our girl power and persuasive skills, we managed to make Eddie Gor Gor to fork out RM5 (anyway the roses are cheap, RM5 for 2 dozens). THANK YOU EDDIE! YAY! YOU ARE THE BEST MAN! But I think he was very reluctant to give me those roses when he found out what my evil plan.

I want to microwave the roses. Seriously. No I’m not joking. One of my hobbies are microwaving roses.

Yay! So I received roses! SIX ROSES! It’s whitish-pink and not bloomed (2 only), perfect for microwaving or freezing. The rest of the roses bloomed, 1 rotten but never mind lar. Initially, I wanted to microwave the rose buds. But then, I think it will not turn into a lovely whitish yellow. Instead, it will turn into brownish-white, like what happened to the yellow rose I microwaved last time (it turned brownish-yellow, eee so ugly).

Since Ying2 suggested me to freeze it and I never freeze a rose before, I cut the stems and threw those 2 in the freezer. The result: Not bad! Can baa at it! Colour preservation is much better compared to microwaved ones. In terms of practicality, microwaved ones will be better. Can hang anywhere. On your desk, on the wall, in the toilet also can. Unless you wanna defrost and get soggy roses?

Anyway, me and my housemates (except Joy) played with the remaining roses coz we were too bored:

These names are made out from rose petals (recycled from the “love-me-not” game)! Aren’t they pretty?
