SHopping!
I am a bad housemate. I influenced my present housemate and ex-housemate to go shopping with me. Then they cannot study. Oh I’m so terrible! And I influenced my housemate who is trying to slim down to eat French fries. Omg… And as a result, I cannot buy the pair of shoes which I really like… because…. My right foot cannot fit into the shoe. Aih. Is this what they called karma?
Today, I went to The Mines with Joy and Pin. I purposely stayed back in the jungles of Semenyih to go for shoe shopping. My mission was to get a nice pair of black heels. I forgot to bring my heels during my last trip. So, every time when I wear skirt, I have to wear shoes coz I will look weird in my sandals.
Arh… so we reach Mines at about 12.30pm. But, to have energy to go shopping, shoppers must eat first, right? So we headed to…
McD!!!!
We tried out the new Country Grilled Chicken Burger. Joy ordered the junior version because she wants to be slim. It looks like this:

My Verdict: Not bad. They used the patty from Grilled Chicken Foldover and stuff loads of veggies and mayonnaise into the burger. I prefer more veggies though, even though Pin expelled practically all of the veggies in the burger. Haih… Once a Pin Pin, always a Pin Pin. I will definitely order this when I come to McD again. That is if I don’t have my usual craving for Filet-O-Fish.
Of course, the meal will not be complete without a drink.

And Liberty fries @ French fries.

After having our burgers, Joy’s mouth itchy itchy… And as usual, she hesitated whether she should get a 2nd burger. Me and Pin offered her our fries but she refused---- the fries are oily and FAT. Aiyo… it took so long to convince her that fries is a good choice. We even took the ‘nutritional leaflet’ from McD to show her that French fries are good, banana pie is bad. We gave her various reasons:
1. The fries are IMPORTED from US and NZ.
2. Fries are made from REAL potatoes.
3. Fries are cooked in the way that maximum nutrients are preserved.
Ok so finally she gave in and ate some fries. But that didn’t stop her from ordering banana pie though.

Joy’s verdict of banana pie: Too sweet, but healthier than fries.
Me and Pin's quote of the day: ‘These fries may look worthless, but it comes from afar and carries with it all my good intentions’.
Pin was the first one who bought stuff. Her first item was a watch (I spotted the stall and recommended it to her). It’s cheap and stylish. I really wanted to buy it but I’ve already own a lot of watches.
The rest of the shopping spree… refer Pin’s blog. Pin bought the most items, followed by me and Joy. I managed to get a pair of black heels which costs me RM25

my conditioner (RM7), toothbrush (RM8.40) and tongue cleaners (RM2.30). Total money spent today= RM54 including the McD value meal. These are the fruits of our labour:

I did not manage to find my Asadi Crocs though. Aiyo… sad lar wei….the pair of shoes which I’ve been eyeing for a long time just couldn’t fit my elephant right foot. Aiyo… I really like the shoes a lot ler… and it’s very lady-like.
Lesson of the day: If you want to save money, please bring Joy out for shopping. She will make you feel bad coz she thinks a lot before buying. That’s what I call a smart consumer. The Ministry of Trade and Affairs will be so proud of her. She only bought groceries and that’s it. Ok I’m very lazy to blog about this already. Kindergarten teacher is signing off. Baa woof!
