Current mood: Relieved! But still a bit worried...
HAHAHAHA! I just bought my prom dress... ok it's not really prom coz I'm not going to the Nottingham Prom anyway, I'm going to the BPSA ball. It's a black (boring but no other colours) halter neck (gosh I just love halter necks!) with some flare-ry bottom. Can dance can-can with it. Lol then the dogs can baa at it. I purposely wore very cincai to buy this dress and see how's the shop assistants' reaction. Imagine someone with specs + boyish T-Shirt + cargo pants walk into a shop full of prom dress. And with pasar malam RM5 slippers. My conclusion? Only 3 shop assistants layan me. The first shop was some corner shop next to Uncle Lim i think in MidValley. 2nd in some shop in The Curve. Actually I found my ideal dress in the 2nd shop. It's green in colour, very unique (which is something I wanted!) but the price is RM499!! OMG so exp ler... aiya anyway I was quite surprised that my mum is actually willing to spend that amount on me! Anyway I found my black dress in COLOURS, 1 Utama. So ppl dun buy that black dress ya! If not we will wear the same dress and I don't like! hahaha! I also found a very nice cheongsam in COLOURS but it costs RM300! haiyo! ahhhhhhh!! actually that dress is quite normal lar... not really unique... so I bought a brooch to add some "umph" to it! Aiya dunno lar... I need some advice from you all... Bringing the dress to uni on Monday and seek for opinions!
OMG I still haven't write letter to Rosalind. Better write now!
